The Bihar State Panchayat Resource Institute (BSPRI) is a pivotal institution established to strengthen and empower the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) in Bihar. Launched as a World Bank-aided society, BSPRI is dedicated to fostering local self-governance by enhancing the capacity of public representatives and officers involved in the Panchayati Raj system. The society plays a crucial role in ensuring community participation in local governance and facilitating the socio-economic development of rural areas. Additionally, BSPRI is responsible for implementing the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA), a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR), Government of India (GOI).
